Unique Dimples
These little dimples keep wet soil 1/4" away from the foundation and provides a waterproof barrier to soil and moisture. The dimpled surface creates an air gap or drainage space. This gap controls both interior and exterior moisture by providing an open drainage path .
Water Finds Its Way Down
System Platon provides a permanent barrier along the entire foundation wall as is shown in the diagram to the right. The impermeable membrane prevents both soil and moisture from resting against the foundation wall. As an added benefit, basement moisture condenses on the back of the Platon membrane and drops to the footing drain for removal. The Platon permanently bridges foundation cracks. There is no need for additional protection.
System Platon is 100% environmentally compatible. High density polyethylene plastic is inert, and leaches no byproducts into the groundwater or backfill soil.
System Platon requires no special installation crew, and no special equipment. Unlike spray or roll-on materials, its rate of application is constant.
